Chapter 26- Was It Her?

Your P.O.V.

"Lagina?" I spoke, surprised. "LAGINA?!" I screamed and followed her and her rider. That's probably mom- Wait, then they're the ones who are attacking Berk.

"W-Why?" I whispered while I was mindlessly following them from the ground. "Why?!" I screamed. I felt something stopped me, but I didn't know what it was. The rider looked at me and I noticed his or her eyes widen. The rider stopped Lagina from flying further. That rider just stared at me and flew away eventually after calling out to their allies.

"RETREAT!" I heard the rider scream and all of the Changewings followed them. But the damaged one was left alone.

It roared to the other Changewings and they just glanced in despair.

I was also in despair.

And confusion.

I breathed out and when I was back to reality, I saw Hiccup's arms were around me.

Stopping me from following Lagina.

"Hey, hey. Are you alright? You kept screaming.... 'Lagina' over that Nightfury." He explained and worry was all over his face.

"Yeah..... yeah. I'm alright. " I nodded to reassure him.

"Well, that's good to know." He smiled and my heart skipped a beat.

This happens frequently, hasn't it? Doesn't matter, I just need to know if that WAS my mom. I'm sure that it was Lagina and the only one that I know who rides her is mom.

"Nice work! You made them fly away." Astrid said, interrupting my thoughts. Stormfly landed and she jumped off her.

"Not really, (Y/N) just kept screaming 'Lagina' then they scrammed off to who knows where." Hiccup told Astrid. Astrid was a bit confused, so she looked at me and gave me a look.

"I did, I-I just- I'll explain, gather everyone, I might know who that was." I told Hiccup and Astrid to call everyone on where we were and they nodded. I ran to Toothless and told him to blast up in the sky.

 

Ase's P.O.V. (ok girl talk bruhs)  

"I just have a great feeling that Hiccup's already in-love with (Y/N)..." Erika told me. "And vice versa." We were talking about everyone back on Berk and we seem to have landed on talking about the marriage and love.

Really cute... stuff to talk about.

I chuckled. "Me too. It's pretty obvious though." I said calmly. "But I don't mind it that much, as I've already fallen for Fishlegs." I suddenly blurted out and I felt my eyes widen. My cheeks went hotter than it usually is.

Erika laughed out loud and held her stomach. "Are you serious right now?" She asked.

What's the point of denying it as I already told her?

"Do you think this face would kid around topics like this?" I answered with my thick Scottish accent. I felt confidence for a while there. Her face went blank then jumped into being surprised. W-Well...

I do like F-Fishlegs.

"Okay then." She just agreed and shrugged. She also flail her hands around because she was in disbelief. "No way. You're seriously serious?" She spoke.

"Y-Yes I'm serious, Erika." I chuckled and felt my face go red a bit. "W-What about you? Going for Sno-Snotlout are we?" I changed the topic. I do see some chemistry around those two.

Her eyes went wide open and she quite blushed. "Pffffftttt. Hell no in Odin's name I'll like that man." She looked around and I gave her a look. A "are you serious?" look.

"O-Ok fine. I like him. There. Why did I even deny it? I already told this to (Name) though." She spoke. "Ooohhh.. but it's kinda obvious that you do like him." I chuckled quietly.

She shrugged and rolled her eyes. "But you, you my girl..." She went closer to me and patted my back. "... are good at hiding secrets."

I just went quiet and looked at my right side, where Raven was, sleeping. I rubbed her head to dodge Erika's eye contact.

"Come on.. say something.." she clicked her fingers in front of my face.

"About what? About Fishlegs?" I somewhat stuttered.

That's what I get for not telling anyone my feelings. This was the first time I ever, ever told anyone my feelings. I was just too afraid and I'm not used around people. I'm happy I got included in this marriage stuff. I might look shy and frail but I'm really not. I could fight.

"Yes.. duh?" She retorted.

"F-Fine... I like him because he's pretty cute and.." I spoke quietly but then I felt the rush of talking about him to someone. "He's pretty amazing when it comes to dragons and he's probably more intelligent than Hiccup..." I stopped when I realized she was staring at me weirdly.

"I didn't know that you were... this.." she wave her hands up and down to me.

"You just pointed to all of me?" I gestured at myself.

She slowly nodded with a smile. We then both saw the a Nightfury plasma blast fire up in the sky.

"W-What happened?" Erika stood up.

Raven looked at what we were talking about and she nudged me. She's trying to tell me that I got to ride her back, I think..?

"Um, are we going to ride on your back?" I asked a somewhat (I think) troubled dragon. She nodded and I smiled. "I finally understood." I call Erika a little short after a asked her if she could carry us.

"Let's go!" Erika screamed after we got on her back.

"H-Hold on, Erika! Do you have any idea how fast Nightfuries fly?" I spoke to her and she held on tightly on the seat. I sighed and tapped her head. "R-Raven... it's pretty near, so why not slow it down a bit, ok?" I smiled and and she nodded. Good thing she's nicer than Toothless. The last time I rode Toothless, I fell down in the water and swore to not ride a fast dragon ever again. Gronckles are quite slow, why not have them for a pet?

She raised her long and big wings and gently raised from the ground.

'Good thing she's pregnant...' I whispered to myself and we flew slowly towards the destroyed Berk.
