Hiccup x Reader : Let's start over (1)

"Gahh..!" A man exclaimed.

"Hey, calm down, it's me (name)" you told him while cupping your hands to his face.

"Who are you?" He looked at you and slowly removed your hands. "Y-You don't... remember?" you replied almost with a crying voice.

He shook his head and let go of your hands. You were too surprised to even reply to that gesture. Tears built up in your eyes and went streaming to your cheeks non-stop but you didn't mind. He was just looking at you with worry and curiousness in his face. You were just looking at the ground thinking

'Why would this happen to me? I loved him with all my heart! Do the gods hate me?'.

These were only some of the thoughts that ran up to your mind and they made you insane. 'How could a little gesture make me like this!'. You were already sitting in the corner of the Haddock's room. He stood up and went to you just to comfort you. You didn't see what he did because your sight was too blurred caused by the tears that were in your eyes.

"Hey... umm, (Name), was it?"  You looked up and saw a smile that you loved with all your heart. He looked really sincere about you. "Y-yeah..it is.. " you replied with a little ..sniff sniff... around. He hugged you and you felt that it wasn't the same hug that you always got from him. Well, of course..that hurt you. "Well..guess what?....Uhhh.. How do I start this?... " He scratched the back of his neck and looked at the ground.

Man, did he look cute.

You looked at him and giggled quietly. He looked back at you and blushed when he saw you giggle at him. You let out a big sigh and smiled. That made him blush even more.

"Well.. you did fall from a dragon in high altitude..so maybe you had a...."  

"A what?" he cut you off.

"An amnesia" You felt your smile fade as his blush did too.

"Oh..ok.. Wait.. I fell of a what?" He kinda made you annoyed because of his question.

"Aren't you listening?" You showed an annoyed face.

"Well.. Just tell me."

"A dragon.. a Nightfury specifically" This made his jaw drop. Like were able to fit you hand in his mouth. Not really ... "A NIGHTFURY??!!....What's that?" He suddenly stood up and held your shoulders which made you stand up as well.

"Yes.. and..uhmm... you seriously don't remember anything do you?" You pouted and crossed you arms. He put you down and shook his head.

This gesture again broke your heart,which was already broken...  

"Well..as your wife.. I'll help you remember everything..I promise" You put your hands back on his face but this time he didn't take it off but instead he held it with care.

"Please do.. and.. you're my wife? .." He asked and tilted his head away from your direction. Before you could answer, you heard a little murmur come out of his mouth. "Of course you are.. you just told me didn't you? What kind of a dumb person asks question like that?" You chuckled and your free hand that wasn't holding Hiccup's face, tilted his head back towards your direction.

You gave him a big smile and jokingly said "You did dummy" you held back a laughter, which failed. You removed your hands from his delicate touch and put and held your mouth to stop you from your most hated laughter. He chuckled. "Why did you stop laughing? It was cute." Well...you know for yourself that he loved you in anyway possible, even that horrible laugh you hated so much.. that's what made you marry him. You blushed, of course. Who wouldn't blush if they were told that they're cute by their crush? I know you would reader-chan. Your eyes were WIDE open.  Your two hands moved from your mouth to your whole face. It covered your crimson red face.

It felt like when you were still hiding your feelings from him and these kind of stuff just happen.

You groaned out of annoyance and just glared at him. "What did I do?" He asked with his hands on his chest showing defeat. You rolled your eyes and changed the topic. You were expert in changing topics really.

"Whatever. Let's just work on your memory." He sat down and patted his hands on the ground saying that you should sit down too. As soon as you sat down, he started talking.

"Well..all I remember was ..umm.. Let me think... well.. when.." He just kept on talking like that until you cut him off. "Do you even have any memory left!?" you exclaimed but not too loud.. just enough for him to think that you were shouting. "I do... meh I got nothing." he replied. You had this face of.. clears throat.. annoyance. disappointment. curiousness.madness. This were all going in you face. Hiccup made a big gulp.

"SO YOU JUST WASTED TIME THINKING FOR NOTHING?!" You stood up while you hands were opened that were showing annoyance.

"Weeeellll.. If you put it that way..yeah.." He chuckled nervously. You groaned once again out of annoyance from your memoryless husband.

"I'll get you, YOU!!!... " You put your fists on and pushed him to the ground.


"AHHHHHHH!!.. Mother of Thor.. please help me!!"

As soon as you were going to punch him in the face, a black cute dragon got down from the "window" on the roof of your house. "AHHH!! What's that black thing?!" He hid himself to your back and he still screamed like a girl -_- .

"Calm down.. that's just Toothless..you pet dragon." You stood up and went up too him. You scratched his snout and went back to Hiccup to pull him towards Toothless. Hiccup resisted but,surprisingly, you're just too strong.

"What are you doing?!" Hiccup exclaimed. "You're just going to hold YOUR pet dragon's snout.. Come on don't be so girly" You joked around while he was still resisting. When you were close enough to Toothless, you pulled Hiccup's hand up and whispered to his ear. "It's going to be alright..I promise." This made him calm down. When he opened his eyes, he noticed that your face was close his. It made him blush and he tilted his head towards the dragon's spot.

It made him gulp. He made a big sigh and closed his eyes. You slowly back away from the two, which Hiccup didn't notice. He stretched his arm, just like what he did when he attempted to touch and get Toothless' trust. Of course, the dragon responded. He put his snout close enough to the man's hand.

This made Hiccup's eyes wide. Memories were flooding in his mind, the things he did to get peace on Vikings and Dragons, his friends and the one he has a crush on. Someone knocked at the door so you stopped from looking at Hiccup and Toothless and went to open the door.

"Hey (name) ... How's Hic-" Astrid looked at Hiccup and Toothless' moment and shut up. Hiccup let go of the dragon's snout and looked at you both. Hiccup ran towards Astrid and....

kissed her.
