Chapter 10: My first kiss

I was cut off by a damn….

Dragon.

We were in the moment and Toothless just tackles Hiccup like that?! What the- I’m not even gonna continue.

“H-Hey buddy. You already missed me?” he stuttered as he was being licked at by his dragon. I sighed and looked at them, smiling.

I stood up and brushed the dirt off my clothes. I spoke without looking them. “Like I said, I’m going to sleep again, ok? And Haddock.”

After I finished on brushing of dirt on my clothes I looked at them and I saw Hiccup staring at me. Damn those eyes. Those emerald green orbs are looking into my soul.

“Earth to (First name). Hello??” he clicked his fingers as he was still sitting on the ground. I came back to reality and shook my head. “What? Why did you call me?”

“Oh, that. I will get my revenge on the challenge later. For tickling me.” I smirked. “Get ready for the worse.” And with that I left. After a few more steps, I looked back and saw the two playing again. They are so childish for their age.

As I came inside my room I saw my dragon still sleeping soundly. When I closed the door, I startled her and she woke up. “Oh sorry Raven.” I whispered.

“Don’t worry about it..” she trailed off and stretched her body. “… I was awake anyway. Where did you come from? ”
“Ummm… Enjoyed the scenery outside…” I replied, obviously lying. If she had eyebrows she would be raising them right now. Her creepy smirk showed up and that sent shivers on my spine. “What’s with that smirk?”

She went to the window and looked outside. Her neck was going right from left and then she was Hiccup and Toothless not too far away from our house. She has those eyes of hers after all. She stopped at their sight and then looked back at me with her smirk not leaving her face. Seriously, can you even imagine a dragon smirking?! It’s creepy as f-

“Enjoyed the scenery outside huh?” she looked at me like I did something wrong. “Or you were with your future husband?” she walked near me and nudged my leg.

“W-What?! N-no way? I’m never getting out just for that dork.” I crossed my arms and turned my head to the other side.
“YES!” she jumped up and down.

“What a-are you so happy about?”

“That just means Hiccup IS your future husband.” I was damn shocked with what just came out of her smelly mouth.

“WHAT?!” I tackled her down by hugging her neck and pulling it upwards. “We don’t know that.”

“But you want it.” She chuckled maniacally. “I didn’t say anything about Hiccup yet you denied that you weren’t with him. That means you want him to be your future husband.”

“Shut the freak up you naughty dragon.” I gave up and plumped into my bed. It was soft because of the wool that my dad put on. Told you, my tribe is damn smart. I buried my crimson red face on my pillow.
After that I fell asleep with my dragon teasing me with Hiccup.

“(NAME)!!! WAKE UP! YOU’RE GONNA BE LATE LASS!” I felt my dad shake my shoul-, whole body.

“What? Dad this is the secon-“ I was cut off by my dad pulling me outside. Does the world enjoy when I’m being cut off when I’m going to talk? Please. “Dad! I’m in my pajamas! And I’m the last one anyway.” I scolded him. So much for being the daughter. Goodbye world.

“Are you screaming at me right now?!” he tightened his grip on my wrist. “Whatever. I don’t have time to argue with you right now. Go and change your clothes into something presentable.”

Wow, saved by the time. I love you time. I ran back to my room and pulled off my usual clothes. A brown long sleeved shirt that hugged my figure and some skinny pants. (Don’t think of these clothes as the ones we wear today. We’re going Viking time right? Just use your amazing imagination. *insert Spongebob’s rainbow*) As for my feet, some comfy fur boots are the one I usually wear.

I ran out as I wore the clothes and saw my dad standing outside. “And besides,…” I rode Raven and lowered my chest near her head. I looked at my dad and grinned. “I’ve got a fast Nightfury to ride on.” And woosh. We got out of the scene where my dad was.

With a blink of an eye, we already made there. My house and arena aren’t really far from each other, if you have a Nightfury.

When Raven passed the gate of the arena, she tilted and closed right wing. I took my belt off and well, jumped. I’m so bad-ass. Ha. I landed fast as I got almost everyone’s eyes. I told you I’m always right on time because when I exactly landed, my name was called. Talk about being late and not. Haha.

I just pretended that it was all part of my plan as I walk swiftly inside the arena. I saw three big tough Vikings when I was already inside or by inside, the middle of the arena. I just smirked as they screamed with their loud and deep voices. They all charged towards me as jumped on one of the Vikings’ head. “I didn’t even say I was ready. Isn’t that a little unfair?” I pouted and evilly grinned. I elbowed the Crazy Crowd’s Viking on the neck. I heard gasps and whispers as I did that.

“That’s gotta hurt.”

“How strong is that woman?!”

“She’s hot.”

“Hiccup is so lucky, if I was him, I would choose her.”

I smiled at the comments I heard from the young adults and the other Vikings. “One down. Two to go.”

They both had their eyes as wide as they can and screamed like girls. Not that I discriminate girls or anything. “Hey where you goin’? I ain’t finished with ya!” (You gangsta bro? XD)

The arena was full of screams and cheers, mostly from my tribe. “Well, we all know who the winner is that’s going to fight Hiccup, right?” Gobber, Berk’s blacksmith asked. They all screamed my name. I smirked and looked at Hiccup. He gulped and shakily walked down. I saw his father put his hand on his forehead as if he already knew who was going to win. And obviously it’s…….

3rd person P.O.V.
Hiccup.
The whole arena was quiet as they saw her lying on the cold ground not moving with a bruise on her right arm. “Nnggnn..” she groaned as she moved to her left. Who knew that Hiccup was damn strong?

Well, he wasn’t. (lol) He just knew her weakness. Her sides. He didn’t punch her or anything to hurt her. He simply, lightly pinched her side and she fainted. He must’ve hit her weak spot. She got her bruise from her fall and Hiccup got her body on his lap, worried sick. “Hey (name)! Did I kill you? If I did, don’t punch me. If you’re still alive, pun-“ she did what she was told. She probably fainted for 5 minutes so everyone was shocked if Hiccup just killed a girl or…. Hiccup just killed a girl.
She punched him so hard that he, again, got a swollen, black eye. So much for ‘raw vikingness’.

“Oops. Sorry.” She chuckled. But this one was stronger so it got bigger faster. “Oh my gosh. I’m sorr-“ she wanted to sit up straight so she pushed her arms from her back to sit but Hiccup’s face blocked her head’s way so they…. Yeah.

Kissed. Everyone in the arena gasped and Erika fainted. Ase was holding her mouth as for the other chiefs, did the same. Both of their eyes were still frozen into looking, staring at each other’s until they both pulled way. They stared at each other and then (name) ran away. Hiccup was calling her but she already got on Raven and they flew. As for Hiccup, having a Nightfury, followed them.

Your P.O.V.
I just kissed a guy. And what’s worse, it’s Hiccup!

The other girls probably think that I’m a slut or something. Dammit!

I heard sounds of wings from our back so I looked back and saw another Nightfury. Hiccup was screaming my name and I stopped. He was my closest friend so I wasn’t really stubborn around him anymore. He hand signed me to go down to the land below us. We might do those romance things up in the sky again. I nodded and I pointed Raven to go down. As we got down I saw Hiccup was holding a small block of ice and he was putting it on his swollen eye. “Ok, I’m sorry. I didn’t know that your face was that close to mine so that happened.” he chuckled. He just freaking chuckled.

“I thought you were going to say sorry because of this.” He pointed to his injured eye. “And... It was my fault. I should have seen you were going to sit.”

“I am not going to apologize for that.” I pointed at his eye. “And…..” I trailed off, smiling. “You just took my first kiss.”
